Overview Community Action Works is hiring Community Organizers to empower local community groups and citizens by providing training and resources as they take on environmental threats in their community. When people see an environmental or toxic waste problem and want to protect their community, taking on well-connected landfill operators or pipeline builders or fighting polluting data centers is no easy task. But nobody has to go it alone. Community Action Works has been an ally to help people make a difference in more than 1,000 diverse communities of people from all walks of life throughout the Northeast. We are now expanding to work with communities across the country and are hiring organizers to make that possible. Locations include Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX.
