There are two contract openings for the 2026-2027 school year: one full-time position for the full academic year, and a second to cover a 0.8 FTE maternity leave from August 19 through September 30. Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Ohio SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous school-based experience preferred, though strong clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration are valued
• Familiarity with IEP development and the special education process
• Ability to connect with children of diverse cultural, linguistic, and learning backgrounds
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech/language services to a caseload of K-12 students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized IEPs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in line with district and legal requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and staff conferences
• Deliver intervention in both individual and group settings as determined by student needs
• Support students’ social communication and language skills to enhance academic achievement
