We are seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join our team in Charleston, SC. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, steady long-term work, and bonus opportunities. Candidates must be skilled in conduit installation and comfortable working daily on-site following state and local building codes.
Responsibilities
- Accurately install rigid and EMT conduit using hydraulic benders for larger sizes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine circuits and equipment placement
- Measure, bend, cut, thread, ream, assemble, and install conduit
- Set up and pull wiring according to blueprints
- Install and terminate panels, switchgear, transfer switches, transformers, and related devices
- Install light fixtures and other electrical devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise
- Follow National Electric Code and local regulations during installation
- Maintain reliable transportation to and from worksites
- Use personal tools of the trade
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4-5 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proficient in conduit bending and electrical wiring installation
- Ability to understand and follow blueprints and technical diagrams
- Reliable transportation and possession of necessary trade tools
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Advanced conduit installation skills
