As an emergency response officer, your role will vary depending on the day. Whether it is inspecting fire equipment or responding to emergency incidents, we need you to adapt with agility and precision.

Responsibilities for  Entry Level Firefighter:

• Monitor the premises to ensure safety of facility
• Respond quickly to fire, medical or hazmat incidents
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring fire system functionality 
• Write detailed reports on events and incidents
• Collaborate with mutual aid partners during serious situations
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications for  Entry Level Firefighter :

• You have an Emergency Response, Fire, or Paramedic background
• You have minimum Basic 20 fire hours certification through the Kentucky Fire Commission or equivalent
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Military or Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
