Job Title: Automation Technician Robotics & Automation
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Automation Technician to support robotic and automated manufacturing equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting industrial robots, EOAT, PLC/HMI-controlled equipment, sensors, pneumatic systems, and automation systems.
Required Skills
- Hands-on Industrial Robotics experience
- EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) experience
- Basic PLC and HMI knowledge
- Experience troubleshooting automated equipment
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, pneumatics, conveyors, and basic electrical systems
- Ability to perform robot setup, adjustments, fault recovery, and troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial robots and automation equipment
- Support EOAT setup, adjustments, and repairs
- Diagnose robot alarms, sensors, grippers, and equipment faults
- Use PLC/HMI interfaces for troubleshooting and machine support
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Support equipment startups, changeovers, and continuous improvement activities
- Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams
