Lead Generation Specialist Orange Electric | Weber County, Davis County, or Utah County, Utah

Orange Electric is a fast-growing commercial and industrial electrical contractor looking for a motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to help expand our customer base and create new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

Drive Strategic Business Growth

Proactively identify, research, and engage prospective commercial and industrial clients through:

• Cold calling
• Targeted email campaigns
• Networking events
• In-person visits
• Industry relationship building

You'll represent Orange Electric's services with confidence and professionalism while tailoring your approach to the specific needs of each prospect.

Lead Qualification & Team Collaboration

Work closely with our estimating team to evaluate opportunities and ensure leads are properly qualified before entering the sales process.

Responsibilities include:

• Gathering key project and company information
• Identifying decision-makers
• Assessing opportunity potential
• Providing detailed notes to support accurate estimating and proposal development

Relationship Development & Conversion

Serve as the bridge between first contact and future business relationships by:

• Conducting consistent follow-up
• Maintaining meaningful communication
• Building trust with potential clients
• Converting prospects into qualified opportunities

Market Research & Opportunity Tracking

Stay informed about:

• Industry trends
• Commercial and industrial construction activity
• Competitor offerings
• Emerging market opportunities

Use this information to identify high-value prospects and position Orange Electric as the preferred electrical contractor.

Sales Pipeline Management

Maintain organized and accurate records of:

• Outreach activity
• Prospect communications
• Follow-up schedules
• Lead status updates
• Opportunity tracking

Strong documentation helps support forecasting, reporting, and long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of sales, lead generation, business development, or outbound prospecting experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable making cold calls and conducting in-person outreach
• Persistent, resilient, and positive when facing rejection
• Strong research and prospecting abilities
• Goal-oriented mindset with a desire to achieve measurable results

Preferred

• Experience in B2B sales
• Familiarity with the construction, commercial, industrial, or electrical services industries
• Experience using CRM systems to track leads and activities
