About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President-General Manager for the South Texas Region. The successful candidate will be tasked with the overall strategy and execution of the aggregates and crushed concrete businesses in the region, with a strong focus on building a world-class safety culture, a high-performing team, and developing and implementing commercial and operational strategies to achieve business results. This role requires a leader who can ensure the alignment of operational goals with the division's strategic objectives, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance the company's market position and customer relationships. The Regional Vice President-General Manager will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including personnel, operations, and business arrangements, and must have a proven track record in leading large-scale commercial and operational teams. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, mining, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in mining, aggregates, or a related heavy industry, with a strong background in sales and operations management, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong market development and customer relationship management skills, a working knowledge of aggregate commercial strategies and production processes, and an understanding of mining regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance. Exceptional leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. The role also demands proficiency in Microsoft applications and the ability to travel as needed.
