Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including activities of daily living and participation in the patient care plan.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including respiratory therapy modalities, and document administration.
- Apply infection control policies and practices to maintain patient safety and quality of care.
- Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and report changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse; act appropriately in emergencies.
- Deliver patient and family instruction during hospitalization and at discharge.
- Support orientation and continuing education of new staff and students; contribute to ongoing professional development.

Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in good standing.
- CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program.
- Ability to perform typical LPN duties in a long-term care setting; strong communication and patient-safety orientation.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use facility software; adequate visual, auditory, and manual dexterity.
