Qualifications Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTE Graduate from an accredited school Minimum one year of experience Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process of obtaining it Current CPR certification Other client‑facility requirements Responsibilities Assess referred patients for rehabilitation services and provide direct patient care. Develop and administer treatment programs with specific goals according to patient capacity under physician guidance. Set realistic goals, document condition, educate patients and families in proper physical therapy methods. Develop plan of care for each patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions per physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.
