Human Resources Specialist
Fort Wayne, IN


Express Employment Professionals in Fort Wayne is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join a growing local company. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting employees, managing HR processes, and fostering a positive workplace culture.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws
  • Administer benefits, payroll changes, and leave requests
  • Support employee relations by addressing questions, concerns, and conflicts
  • Assist with training and development initiatives
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters
Qualifications
  • Previous HR or recruiting experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
