Schedule/Shift

This position offers a Night Shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed.

Job Description

The Resource Float Pool team at BUMC-Tucson and BUMC-South provides support across multiple adult health units, ranging from Observation to Intermediate Care Units (IMC). Nurses may be floated to various units, including expanded spaces in emergency departments or post-anesthesia care units (PACU), to manage adult health patients awaiting unit beds.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult health patients in various settings.
• Float to different units as required based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience.
• Documented float pool experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license to practice in Arizona.
• ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
• No hits on state license to practice.
