Duties Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions,including evaluating physiology and anatomy knowledge to develop tailoredcare plans. Design and implement effective physiotherapy interventions such astrigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and geriatrics-focusedtreatments to improve mobility and reduce pain. Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensureseamless transition from hospital to home or community care settings. Manage care plans for diverse populations including pediatrics,geriatrics, and patients in acute care or outpatient clinics. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently todocument patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately. Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitationexercises, and health maintenance strategies to empower self-care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals tooptimize treatment outcomes and adapt care strategies as needed. Participate in home & community care initiatives to extendphysiotherapy services beyond clinical settings and support patientindependence. Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy andorthopedic physiotherapy to address complex musculoskeletal issues. Engage in continuous professional development by staying currentwith medical terminology updates, physiotherapy advancements, and bestpractices in inpatient, outpatient, hospital, or home health environments. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy essential for accurateassessment and effective treatment planning. Proven experience in discharge planning and managing care acrossinpatient, outpatient, hospital, or home health settings. Expertise in pediatric care, geriatrics, orthopedics, andcommunity-based physiotherapy services. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patientmanagement. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailoredto individual needs. Ability to perform trigger point therapy techniques effectively formusculoskeletal pain relief. Deep understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapypractice. Effective communication skills for collaborating withmultidisciplinary teams and educating patients about their treatmentplans.
