Diesel Mechanic

Hydraulic TechnicianTest and inspect hydraulic pumps, valves and cylinders, etc. Troubleshoot mobile and industrial equipment and systems. Conducts field service calls for various hydraulically-powered systems and machines for troubleshooting and repair. Install hydraulic components onto in-house or onsite customer equipment.Responsibilities:Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel enginesHandles routine repairs, including oil and tire changesInterprets diagnostic test results accuratelyWrites detailed inspection reports and repair plansHires, trains, and manages a team of traineesCollaborates with other diesel mechanicsPresents reports and plans to clients for approvalAdvises clients on repair options and costsCompletes test drives to make sure the vehicle runs correctlyUses power, machine, and hand tools safelyFollows all motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards
