Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Newport, Oregon. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $2,092–$2,199 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Rotating (including weekends). Setting: hospital unit providing medical-surgical care for acutely ill adults and postoperative patients.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for acutely ill adults and postoperative patients on the Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications and IV therapies, and respond to clinical changes per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and case managers to coordinate care and plan for discharge
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record, maintain safety and infection control standards, and manage pain and symptom relief
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and post-discharge care

Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) required
- NIHSS required
- Ability to work in a hospital Med Surg setting with rotating shifts including weekends
- Education: RN credential from an accredited nursing program
