Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures. Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. Conducts field preparation and maintenance. Ensures the operating room is sterile. Monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures. Maintains surgical instruments in an organized manner. Assists the team with safe and efficient operating room turnover times. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: N/A Education: Technical/Vocational School [Required] Associate [Preferred] Work Experience: 2+ years of technical experience [Required] 2+ of CVOR experience Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR Technician in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) [Required] Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred] Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred] Physical Requirements: Physical Requirements - Pay Range: $15.00 - $130.00 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
