Research Director

Owning the research and learning agenda for Emergency Cash Programs, the full-time remote Research Director for Emergency Cash will manage strategic impact evaluations, set research priorities, and establish best practices while mentoring team members and representing the organization externally. Key responsibilities Lead the development and prioritization of impact-focused learning questions for Emergency Cash programs Establish and refine research best practices and management systems within the Emergency Cash portfolio Directly manage strategic research projects and partnerships to advance understanding of key learning questions Required qualifications Advanced degree in a relevant field such as economics, public policy, or social sciences Proven experience in research design and implementation, particularly in emergency or humanitarian contexts Strong track record of managing complex research projects and partnerships Expertise in data analysis and evaluation methodologies Demonstrated ability to communicate research findings effectively to diverse stakeholders
