Machine Operator / Technician Night Shift Jacksonville, Florida Night Shift: Mon to Thurs, 5:00pm to 5:00am Hourly Pay: $19.00/hr + based on experience (plus 12% night shift differential) Enhanced Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) 401K, Vacation, Sick Time, Holiday Pay

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance activities on injection molding and related production equipment.
• Operates and monitors equipment utilizing Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), programmable controls, and other advanced machine control systems; interprets alarms, system status, and operating parameters to make appropriate process or equipment adjustments.
• Under general supervision performs all responsibilities necessary to operate, troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain the injection molding machines and metrology equipment.
• Able to perform a variety of tasks needed to monitor and adjust the process to improve quality.
• Assist with Preventative Maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor equipment and process status for new products.
• Able to perform routine cleaning and non-routine maintenance with adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives.
• Maintain current knowledge and adhere to provisions of FDA, OSHA, GMP, MPs, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, equipment specifications and process specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical/electro-mechanical systems, automation, controls, or a related technical field preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment with Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), programmable controls, and/or advanced automated control systems.
• Ability to perform hands-on preventive and corrective maintenance, including basic electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical repairs.
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years maintenance or engineering experience with high volume production line environment
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude
• Flexibility to rotate between day and night shift
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Office equipment used: personal computer, printer, copier, Microsoft Office Suite, other software as required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Physical demands of the job include: stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, fingering, and climbing. Inside environmental conditions: in an air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
