We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a Behavior & Emotional classroom at an elementary school in Colorado Springs, CO. Position Details:
- Position: Special Education Teacher Behavior & Emotional
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the 2026 2027 school year
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: To be determined
- License Required: Valid Colorado Special Education teaching license/credential
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction and educational strategies.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and school leadership.
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Support a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement behavior support strategies as appropriate.
- Valid Colorado Special Education teaching license/credential .
- Experience working with students with behavioral and emotional needs preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to supporting student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
