Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential required
• Prior experience working in a school setting as a Special Education Teacher is highly preferred
• Strong commitment to individualized education and collaborative team practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with elementary school IEP processes and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Provide specialized instruction and interventions for students with diverse learning profiles
• Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and support staff to foster student success
• Monitor and document student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations relating to special education
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to a positive school culture
