Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant (MA) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced primary care setting. The MA performs clinical and administrative duties, assists with patient flow, and ensures efficient daily operations while maintaining a compassionate and professional patient experience. The MA ensures clinical areas run smoothly and efficiently while supporting the provider. Hours: Full time, 40 hours/week, Occasional Saturday hours 9:00am-12:00pm Greet patients and confirm patient demographic information to assure accuracy Room patients to include both telehealth visits and in-office visits Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, height, weight, etc) Explain treatment procedures to patients Assist the provider during in-office or telehealth visits as needed Perform basic laboratory tests on the premises Perform other clinical functions as delegated by Clinical Supervisor Schedule appointments and handle correspondence to patients for assigned providers Perform other clinical functions as delegated/supervised by the provider/supervisor Skills: Training Proficiency with Electronic Health Record system Strong clinical and technical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues. Education/Training Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
