Assistant or Associate Professor, Non‑Malignant Hematology (Clinician Scholar Pathway) Full‑time faculty position on the Clinician Scholar pathway. Appointment is at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (primary) and the University of Washington (joint). Faculty hold a WOT rank with a 12‑month service period. Eligible for multi‑year appointment as an Assistant Professor or indefinite appointment as an Associate Professor. Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient care within the non‑malignant hematology program. Conduct clinical research utilizing comprehensive databases and ongoing prospective studies. Develop and lead independent clinical research programs. Engage in teaching: oversight of advanced practice providers and fellows during inpatient and outpatient rotations, and delivery of informal teaching sessions and formal lectures to providers and the general medical community. Perform primary activities on‑site at Fred Hutch. Qualifications MD/DO (or foreign equivalent), board certification in Hematology, Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology (or foreign equivalent), and eligibility for medical licensure in Washington. Demonstrated record of research in hematology, especially non‑malignant disorders, with peer‑reviewed publications and an active clinical research interest. Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary: Assistant Professor $318,350 – $343,181; Associate Professor $370,098 – $396,745. Position may be eligible for relocation assistance or a sign‑on bonus.
