Technology Transactions and Sourcing Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Technology Transactions and Sourcing practice group in New York City, NY. The role involves structuring, negotiating, and closing complex commercial agreements related to technology and intellectual property across various industries. Duties Structure and negotiate complex commercial contracts and technology deals. Handle software licensing and cloud services agreements. Manage software, data, and IP development agreements. Negotiate channel, reseller, and distribution agreements. Conduct IP due diligence in M&A and other corporate transactions. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in technology transactions and sourcing. Experience with AI/ML, semiconductor development, and digital assets is welcome. Excellent analytical, writing, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices. EducationSuperior academic credentials from a top-tier law school. CertificationsRelevant coursework in business, technology, and intellectual property law subjects. SkillsSelf-starter with strong analytical abilities. Proficient in negotiating complex agreements.
