Job Overview A law firm seeks a Venture Technology Associate in New York, NY. This role involves working within a dynamic team focused on venture capital and emerging companies, providing comprehensive legal support and fostering client relationships. Duties Counsel venture capital firms and emerging companies on day-to-day legal matters. Manage transactional work, including venture financings and exits. Represent venture firms and capital sources in various transactions. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Requirements 3-5 years of legal experience required. Experience with competitive firms in the tech sector is a plus. Licensed to practice law in the State of New York and in good standing. Experience with west coast deals is advantageous. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in New York. Skills Strong analytical and judgment skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent leadership and teamwork abilities. Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation.
