About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Arcata, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 36 hours per week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during overnight shifts
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and emergency conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months prior to contract start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an Emergency Room or acute care setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and emergency triage protocols
