Positions Available: Position: Architect with Construction Administration Experience Location: Boston, MA Job Id: CA0826 # of Openings: 1 Architect with Construction Administration Experience Payette is currently seeking architects with construction administration experience to share in our passion for design. Challenging building types are the focus of our collaborative practice: higher educational facilities for science, research laboratories and healthcare facilities of all types. Ideal candidates for this role are highly organized, proactive communicators with a strong eye for detail. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants on the challenge of guiding complex projects to successful outcomes. Candidates must have the following qualifications to be considered for the position: Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree At least ten (10) years of post-graduate professional experience with demonstrated depth in construction administration Project typology experience in university, healthcare, or laboratory design and renovation Strong technical acumen, with an understanding of building codes. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and navigate challenging site conditions. Computer expertise in Revit Other position qualifications include: Strong design and graphics skills Knowledge of space programming, contract documents (including detailing, specifications, production management, design production), and contract administration Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with various levels of individuals including clients, consultants, and architects Ability to juggle multiple tasks, collaborate on large teams and work well under deadlines High level of organization with the ability to shift priorities when needed and remain focused LEED accreditation is a plus Compensation: $92,000 - $146,000 Payette is an Equal Opportunity Employer. STEP 2: Interview Interviews at PAYETTE consist of a candidate meeting with two members of the interview team, which includes Principals, Associate Principals, and Senior Associates. The interview allows the team to learn more about the candidate’s background, experience, and qualifications, while also giving the candidate an opportunity to learn about the firm’s design philosophy, project portfolio, and studio culture. STEP 3: Decision Following the interview, the interviewers prepare a summary of their notes and share it with the full interview team for discussion. The summary includes overall impressions, ratings across four competencies (design, communication, technical, and program), and a recommendation regarding whether to extend an offer. After the full interview team discusses each candidate, a final hiring decision is made. It has come to our attention that employment scams are becoming more common.
