Accounting Associate

Accounts Payable Specialist
Duration: 5+ months Compensation: $20-26/hr Location: Northwood, OH Support a high-volume Accounts Payable function by ensuring accurate invoice processing, three-way matching compliance, and timely payment operations. This role helps maintain financial accuracy, strengthens vendor relationships, and contributes to efficient accounting workflows within a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
- Three-way matching
- Invoice processing
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices received through email, fax, and mail channels.
- Retrieve, distribute, and track incoming invoices for timely processing.
- Perform three-way matching using purchase orders, receiving documentation, and vendor invoices.
- Scan, index, and maintain electronic invoice records.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies through vendor communication.
- Train new associates on invoice distribution procedures and support process improvement initiatives.
