Opportunity Overview:

Adam & McGrevey is looking for an experienced, highly organized Litigation Paralegal to support a busy lead attorney on sophisticated medical malpractice and personal injury defense matters. This is a full-time, in-person role in Overland Park, Kansas, ideal for a legal professional who enjoys managing important case details, working with medical evidence, and helping move cases from intake through trial. You will gain meaningful experience in complex litigation while making a direct contribution to a focused, respected practice.

What You Will Do:

• Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates across Kansas, Missouri, and federal courts with accuracy and urgency.
• Prepare, produce, file, and organize pleadings, motions, discovery materials, subpoenas, correspondence, and other legal documents in line with applicable court rules.
• Request, review, index, and organize significant medical records, billing records, insurance lien materials, and other case documentation.
• Coordinate with medical experts by supporting retention activities, transferring records, and scheduling depositions and trial testimony.
• Assist with trial preparation by assembling exhibit binders, trial notebooks, witness materials, and digital presentations.
• Maintain accurate case files, document management systems, and daily billable-time entries using Tabs3 and PointOne software.

Required Qualifications:

• At least two years of litigation paralegal, legal assistant, or litigation support experience, ideally in medical malpractice or personal injury defense.
• Demonstrated experience with legal document preparation, document production, discovery, and subpoena preparation under attorney supervision.
• Proficiency with electronic filing and docketing procedures for Kansas, Missouri, and federal courts.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong calendar management skills, and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Ability to work on-site daily in our Overland Park office and communicate professionally with attorneys, court personnel, clients, experts, and vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A paralegal certificate, formal paralegal education, or equivalent advanced litigation experience.
• Experience with eDiscovery, medical record collection, claims documentation, document management, and trial technology.
• Comfort using modern legal technology, including artificial intelligence tools used responsibly to support legal workflows.

Compensation and Benefits:

This full-time Paralegal position offers an annual salary of $65,000 to $70,000, based on experience and qualifications.
