Permit Coordinator - Contract

Randstad is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Permit Coordinator for an immediate, one-month temporary assignment with one of Central Florida’s leading residential remodeling firms. Responsibilities

• End-to-End Permit Management: Prepare, submit, track, and coordinate comprehensive residential remodel permit applications with Central Florida municipalities and regulatory agencies, ensuring strict accuracy and compliance with local guidelines.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with teams to gather, audit, and organize all necessary  documentation and details required to facilitate smooth permit submissions.

• Municipal & Agency Relations: Serve as the primary, proactive point of contact between the company and municipal building offices throughout the entire permitting lifecycle, establishing positive rapport to minimize processing delays.

• Pipeline Optimization & External Oversight: Maintain a follow-up cadence on all pending permit statuses, while coordinating and directing external third-party permit runners and outside consultants to expedite field approvals.

• Data Integrity & Project Support: Maintain digital records, reports, licenses, and job packages, while entering real-time updates and scheduling timelines within the company CRM to ensure company-wide visibility.
