AV Service Technician (Junior to Experienced)

This role is open to both junior and experienced candidates. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in high-end residential and professional corporate environments, providing service, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for audio-visual systems while consistently meeting and exceeding company standards.Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair AV systems including audio, video, control, surveillance and networking componentsPerform routine service calls, system maintenance, and upgradesProvide on-site technical support in both residential and corporate settingsCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients, both verbally and in writing, to resolve issues and explain solutionsMaintain and exceed company standards for professionalism, performance, and client satisfactionActively pursue ongoing learning and skill development to increase personal effectiveness and overall value to clients and the companyDocument service activities, issues, and resolutions accuratelyCollaborate with installation and engineering teams when neededQualifications:Junior Candidates: Basic understanding of AV systems or related technical fieldStrong willingness to learn and develop technical skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsExperienced Candidates: Proven experience servicing AV systems in residential and/or corporate environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills across AV, control systems, and networkingAbility to work independently and manage service calls efficientlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growthRequirements (All Candidates):Comfortable interacting directly with high-end clients and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all timesAbility to consistently follow and exceed company standards for performance, appearance, and client interactionStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingCommitment to ongoing learning and self-improvement to enhance service quality and client experienceValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sitesAbility to lift and handle AV equipment as neededPreferred Skills (Not Required):Experience with control systems (e.g., Crestron, Control4, AMX)Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)Industry certifications are a plusWe offer competitive salary based on experience, opportunities for training and career growth, and a supportive team environment.If the above resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you!
