Job Summary

A well-established legal services firm in Downtown Orlando is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a highly organized legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys taking ownership of case support, discovery, deadlines, and trial preparation.

The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and legal staff on sophisticated business litigation matters, providing hands-on support from case intake through trial, mediation, arbitration, and resolution. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare deposition, trial, and record subpoenas in compliance with Florida and federal court requirements.
- Coordinate third-party record production, summarize records, and organize case materials for attorney review.
- Analyze, review, and manage documents and data received from clients, opposing counsel, and discovery sources.
- Assist with pleadings, motions, court submissions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation filings.
- Support mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation, including trial notebooks, case binders, exhibits, and related materials.
- Maintain litigation calendars and track deadlines, hearings, conferences, and other key case dates.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
- Position Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: Downtown Orlando, FL.
- Work Arrangement: 100% on-site.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support attorneys handling complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts.
- Manage discovery support, document review, record production, and eDiscovery coordination.
- Prepare litigation documents, subpoenas, court submissions, trial materials, and case binders.
- Maintain litigation calendars and help ensure deadlines and court requirements are met.

- 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of Florida and federal court rules, procedures, filings, and litigation deadlines.
- Experience preparing subpoenas, discovery materials, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation documents.
- Experience with document management systems, eDiscovery, and document review platforms.
- Proficiency in a Windows-based work environment.
- Ability to conduct legal and background research using tools such as Lexis, PACER, Accurint, Secretary of State databases, and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Professional, reliable, team-oriented, and willing to work additional hours when needed to meet case deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Business litigation experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience supporting complex commercial, corporate, or business dispute matters.
- Experience supporting arbitration, mediation, and trial proceedings.
- Strong familiarity with eDiscovery workflows and litigation technology tools.
