Overview Zurich North America is hiring an AVP Underwriting Program Manager to join our Middle Markets Program team. The role can be performed in a hybrid or fully remote work environment. We are open to candidates in Chicago, Illinois; Schaumburg, Illinois; Omaha, Nebraska; Atlanta, Georgia; and other locations. Responsibilities Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and concerns for various programs. Assist with dashboard completion and game‑plan updates. Support the product development process. Execute on referrals from program administrators. Perform project work as necessary. Participate in underwriting, sales, and claims meetings. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in underwriting or a market‑facing area. High school diploma or equivalent and 14 or more years of experience in claims or underwriting support. Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 5 or more years of experience in underwriting or a market‑facing area. Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 12 or more years of experience in claims or underwriting support. Preferred Good problem‑solving skills. Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple and varied assignments. Eagerness to learn. Networking ability. Embraces change. Self‑starter. Ownership mindset. Compensation The proposed salary range for this position is $130,000.00 – $215,000.00. Short‑term incentive bonus eligibility is set at 20%.
