Physical Therapist - Outpatient Ortho

Location: Mobile, AL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour Day shifts, guaranteed 36 hours with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic setting. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing appropriate therapy interventions. The role involves seeing 12-14 patients per day, with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week, and may include double-booking follow-up visits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid Physical Therapy license or eligibility in the state of Alabama.
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred.
• New graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Must have approval from the director for overtime hours worked.
