Job Title: Order Selector
Job Description
As an Order Selector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of the manufacturing process by working a day ahead of the Assemblers. Your responsibilities will include picking orders based on the VOM, staging them for Assemblers at each workbench, and maintaining a swift pace to match the manufacturing process. You will be required to climb a 10 ft ladder for top shelf orders, lift up to 20 lbs, and operate a manual pallet jack and forklift, for which certification will be provided. Your working hours will be from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Work Environment
You will be working in a climate-controlled industrial environment, both in winter and summer, within a medium-sized warehouse featuring approximately 10 workstations. The enclosed setting, apart from two open shipping and receiving doors, provides a visually appealing work atmosphere. Expect to stand 100% of the time and adhere to a dress code of plain black t-shirts, jeans (blue, khaki, or black), and tennis shoes. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with potential overtime. Breaks include a 10-minute morning break, a 30-minute lunch break, and a 10-minute afternoon break, with extended breaks during summer

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Job Description

- Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Climb ladders and lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and forklifts after certification.
- Maintain a fast pace to keep up with the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with Assemblers and other team members.
- Experience in order picking and warehouse work.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Good tenure and work history.
- Excellent attendance and attitude.
