Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.34 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report access control concerns, delivery issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols. Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with staff and visitors, assisting with directions and policy questions, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrols, and/or routine activities. Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
