Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Medical Facility Patrol in Mountain View, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a respected healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will reflect our values of being agile, reliable, and innovative while putting people first and acting with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership according to post instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general assistance, and communicate with staff regarding security-related concerns and/or policy questions.
- Support emergency and medical-related response efforts by helping with crowd management, access control, and coordination with first responders and/or designated personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
