As a Security Officer Tablet Patrol Associate in Mountain View, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support students, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while contributing to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout classrooms, hallways, entry points, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Help to monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying authorization when required, and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Support a positive learning environment by addressing concerns with professionalism, assisting with directions and general information, and documenting security-related observations and/or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
