Community Youth Ministries (CYM) of Reedley, CA is looking to hire a part-time ELP Student Support Staff. If this sounds like the right tutoring and activity coordination opportunity for you, apply today! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PART-TIME ELP SCHOOL DAY SUPPORT PROVIDERAs a Student Support staff, you help support local school administration as needed. Your tasks are varied and can range from supervising students from grades K-8 during transitions to helping as needed in a classroom or office. Making the effort to connect with each student, you give them the extra individualized attention that they need to be successful in their schoolwork. Your supportive and upbeat energy helps students feel confident and capable. You ensure that they can focus by employing effective classroom management techniques and using appropriate positive discipline. As a role model, you are professional and set a good example at all times. You feel great about igniting the light within each student by providing them with opportunities to reach their full potential, in order to create stronger students, stronger families, and stronger communities. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PART-TIME ELP SCHOOL DAY SUPPORT PROVIDER48+ completed college units OR a paraeducator certificatePassion for instilling a love of learning in young peopleDo you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills?
