Account Manager
Talon Recruiting has partnered with a National Heavy Equipment Dealer. We are in search of an Account Manager to join their team in Columbus GA.
Ideal Fit:
- Contribute to making a leader in the material handling industry by acting as the Territory Manager who builds business; manages and grows forklift equipment sales and service; promotes effective marketing plans, identifies business opportunities; sells products; maintains relationships with clients; identifies product improvements or new products; prepares reports; maintains quality service; maintains professional and technical knowledge; contributes to team effort.
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Customer service oriented.
- SAP knowledge and experience a plus.
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, Access.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion. Frequent use of computer and telephone. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
