FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Positions available: Full‑time and part‑time Food Service Worker at Burke County Public School. Location: 412 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Full‑time and part‑time options; hours may vary. Pay: $14.75 per hour. Training: Willing to train. Benefits: Free shift meal, no weekends or holidays, internal employee referral bonus. Experience: Previous food service experience preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures. Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
