The role encompasses patient assessments and administering emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment. Nurses will be required to provide excellent customer service and clinical expertise when managing a diverse patient population. Shift and Schedule Shifts: 3 PM to 3 AM Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 72 hours per pay period Weekend Rotation: Variable weekends required Holidays: Coverage required during holidays Job Responsibilities Provide immediate and emergency care for patients experiencing medical crises. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatment as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation. Respond to emergencies and assist with life-saving measures as necessary. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting. Current Michigan nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS (AHA) required. Travel experience preferred. Attendance Policy Please note that this position will adhere to a strict attendance policy. Absences or tardiness exceeding designated limits may result in immediate termination. Exceptions for documented circumstances such as communicable diseases or hospitalization will be considered.
