Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to provide critical administrative and operational support to a field services team. This role will be responsible for processing service-related documentation, assisting with inventory and billing activities, supporting field personnel, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Description
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the field operations team.
- Process Field Service tickets and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with Field Supervisors and Service Analysts to resolve billing and pricing issues.
- Manage assigned portions of the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
- Coordinate with Service Operations and Inside Sales teams regarding inventory and ticketing procedures.
- Support service truck inventory cycle count activities and reconciliation efforts.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Contribute to departmental continuous improvement efforts and process enhancements.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business operations.
S kills Required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or administrative environment.
- At least 1 year of inventory-related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Solid mathematical and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy.
- Team-oriented approach and willingness to support cross-functional departments.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Oracle financial systems.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Experience supporting field service, operations, logistics, or inventory management teams.
Education
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Pay Rate
- $22 - $24 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
