Litigation Paralegal - Personal Injury 5+ Years We are hiring a senior litigation paralegal who takes pride in high-quality work and wants to be part of a growing, family-friendly firm that values accountability, initiative, and personal growth. You will: Take ownership of an assigned personal-injury litigation caseload of approximately 40-50 matters, from drafting the complaint through settlement and trial preparation. Work directly with four attorneys as a trusted, proactive litigation resource. Keep cases moving by proactively moving discovery, managing deadlines, anticipating needs, maintaining organized files, and raising issues before they become problems. Handle core litigation work, including complaints, service, pleadings, discovery, expert retention and disclosures, medical-record coordination, settlement materials, and trial preparation. Work independently and build efficient systems and processes with your team. This is not a role with a dedicated litigation assistant or junior paralegal to manage. You must be comfortable owning your cases and moving them forward without relying on others for routine work.This is a hybrid position. You may work remotely if you are efficient, responsive, and consistently productive, or work from our Las Vegas office if preferred.If you need constant direction, this role will not work. Responsibilities: Case Velocity Cases move from filing → discovery in ~75 days Discovery requests out within 2 weeks of JCCR Discovery responses ready for review within 2 weeks of receipt Expert materials ready 30 days prior to disclosures File Quality Files are clean, complete, and always review-ready Medical, depo, and discovery summaries are current Deadlines, service, pleadings, and discovery obligations are tracked and addressed proactively Work Product Complaints, discovery, disclosures, correspondence, settlement materials, and trial-preparation materials are accurate and timely Issues are identified early and communicated clearly to the responsible attorney Cases are handled with sound judgment, organization, and consistent follow-through Client Experience Clients are informed, not chasing us Communication is proactive, clear, and professional Clients receive a responsive and organized litigation experience What You Must Already Be Good At Running plaintiff personal-injury litigation files without micromanagement Managing approximately 40-50 active cases from complaint through settlement Drafting complaints and handling service, pleadings, discovery, expert disclosures, and trial preparation Anticipating issues before they become problems Keeping files clean and deadlines controlled under pressure Communicating clearly and respectfully with clients, providers, adjusters, attorneys, and staff Taking direction while using initiative and sound judgment Working effectively in a collaborative firm where processes may continue to evolve What Success Looks Like Take ownership of your work, cases, and solutions Maintain a proactive, accountable mindset Meet deadlines consistently and communicate early when obstacles arise Produce accurate, organized, attorney-ready work product Receive and apply feedback professionally Learn and follow established systems before recommending improvements Contribute to a respectful, collaborative, and family-friendly team environment Qualifications: Who This Is For You take ownership without being asked You care about clean, high-performing files You are comfortable managing your own caseload without a dedicated assistant You want to be judged on quality, follow-through, and results You can work independently while communicating well with a small team Who This Is Not For You wait for direction on routine litigation tasks You struggle with managing deadlines or maintaining organized files You avoid accountability or difficult follow-up You prefer strictly task-based work with constant support You need a large support staff to manage a reasonable caseload Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 yearly

Compensation:
$85,000-$100,000 per year
