You will also troubleshoot PLC systems and other controls systems.Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines, systems, and equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systemIdentifies the root cause of equipment failuresPerforms basic equipment diagnosis for both electrical & mechanical issuesConducts physical inspections regularly checking systems and equipment to ensure they are up to standards and running efficientlyFinding and repairing potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesMust have an understanding and experience in all phases of 110-480 volt system with higher voltage experience preferred.Troubleshoot and repair all standard electrical components and detect minor equipment problems and correct them before they become major issues.Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts.Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumaticsTroubleshoot PLC systems and other control systems and install wiring systems for power and control.Troubleshoot, install and repair ac/dc motors, starters, relays and drives.Other duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesExperience operating different types of powered Industrial equipment.Knowledge of overhead crane, drill press, and millsForklift certified a plusRequirementsQualifications5-10 years of maintenance / installation experienceGED or High school EquivalentPhysical Requirements:Ability to think critically, analyze problems and come up with effective and efficient solutions is crucial.Frequently lifting to 75 lbs.Frequently required to stand, bend, twist, and reach.Frequently work at heights greater than 20 feet from aerial work platform.Physical DemandsWear and use the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and the assigned uniform correctly while on duty.Meet all required attendance standards and expectations.Magnum Venus Products, Inc. is committed to compliance with its obligations under all applicable state and federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination.
