As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
