As a Contracts Administrator I, you will be responsible to support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities for assigned programs with our customers. You'll be using your skills and expertise in supporting Contract Managers to ensure proper contract management in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. You will be responsible for the initial stages of contract administration including documentation, review, and tracking of contracts.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.Responsibilities:Update and maintain contract management systems and databases.Assist in reviewing contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contract activities.Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and information.Maintains close, professional interface with internal customer personnel (technical, administrative and business). Interfaces with external customers in coordination with the Contracts Manager.Works with internal customers (program managers, program directors, etc. ) ensuring all communication with external customers is concise and consistent from both technical and contractual personnel.In coordination with Contracts Manager, reviews, recommends and negotiates Non-Disclosure Agreements, ensuring SNC protection in terms and conditions.Tracking, reconciling, closing and reporting Unbilled and Accounts Receivable status; supports in resolution of Invoice issues.Tracks and submits Contracts and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documentation.Interface with the USG PCOs, negotiating low-dollar/low-complexity contractsPerform cradle-to-grave contract actions on low-dollar/low-complexity contracts to include proposal preparation and submission; negotiations; completing TINA certs; signing contracts; contract administration; and contract closeoutAll other appropriate tasks as assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications You Must Have:Associate's degree in a related field.0-2 years of experience in a related field.Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Skills to plan, organize, multi-task, prioritize, and execute assigned workload to meet multiple deadlines.Strong communication skills.The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is requiredQualifications We Prefer:Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry.Familiarity with government contract requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) regulations.Ability to problem solve - applying originality, creativity and initiative.Bachelor's degree in a related field.Essential Functions:Ability to work primarily in an office environment.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Ability to travel occasionally (<10%) for training or contract negotiations.This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.Estimated Starting Salary Range: $29.03 - $39.92. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
