CNC Machine Operator (Mill/Lathe)

Pay Rate: $19-$21/hr DOE


Job Overview
We're looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team! You will be responsible for operating CNC Mills and/or Lathes machinery, including various other production equipment according to the daily production schedule. You must adhere to PTI's safety standards, practices and procedures.


Key Responsibilities


• Read job specifications or blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements


• Maintain great quality and production output


• Reports work piece defects or machine malfunction to shift lead


• Conduct regular quality audits of parts produced by measuring and inspecting components to tight tolerances with calipers, drop indicators, height gauges and micrometers


• Operates hand tools to remove burrs and sharp edges from parts


• Assists in machine set up


Requirements:


• 2+ years previous production, manufacturing or related experience in an industrial setting


• Ability to effectively utilize basic shop math skills


• Strong attention to detail


• Performs duties with minimal supervision


• Fine hand motor skills


• Team player


• Self-motivated and quick learner


High School diploma or GED required


Schedule & Pay


• $19 - $21/hr DOE


• 3:15PM - 11:45PM M-F training 1st shift or 1st week 7am -3:30pm


Experience:


• 2+ years previous production, manufacturing or related experience in an industrial setting


Physical Demands:


• This position requires standing on your feet for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.


Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Language:

• Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
