100% RemoteThe Security Designer will be part of our national IES Design Branch and will be highly skilled in designing advanced professional CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection solutions, as well as other security systems, in the commercial security integration industry. The role involves providing consulting and design services for technology-enhanced spaces. The designer will actively participate in the design process for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the delivery of top-quality work to our clients.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute as a key member of the project design team, bringing a significant level of expertise in Security systems and related design elements, with a forward-thinking perspectiveEngage in design meetings with our clients to determine project goals and requirementsDevelop Security systems recommendationsWork collaboratively with the CAD/BIM Staff to develop high-quality Security infrastructure construction drawings, details, and systems drawingsReview submittals of shop drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, engineers, and other consultantsThe Security Designer will be responsible for reviewing intake forms or site surveys, designing customer solutions based on requirements, and producing documentation suitable for system installation, and control system programming scopes. QualificationsPhysical and Mental Requirements:The Security Designer must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and lead others to create, develop, and implement project process improvement(s).Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentation(s).
