As the Special Events Coordinator , you will: Plan, create, coordinate and implement events for the City of Celina – including events in Historic Downtown area. Develop partnerships and secure sponsorships. Implement, develop, recommend, and coordinate administrative tasks and procedures in the areas of event management, pre-event and post-event planning. Oversee the Special Events Review Committee, which manages applications, planning permits and logistics for various City departments providing support and services during private special events held in Celina. Monitor special events, which are reviewed and approved through the special events review process. The City of Celina operates on a 4-day work week. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check. Must possess valid class C driver’s license.
