Job Description

An established and growing manufacturing company is seeking an Estimator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working cross-functionally, and playing a key role in delivering competitive, accurate project estimates. You'll collaborate closely with sales, production, and vendors while supporting a wide variety of custom manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements
Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and outside services
Determine whether projects will be produced internally or outsourced
Obtain and evaluate vendor pricing and quotations
Create layouts using CAD software when required
Prepare and maintain detailed estimates within the company's estimating system
Partner with the sales team to support customer quotes and proposal deadlines
Update estimates as project requirements change
Maintain cost data and support continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Graphic Arts, Design, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience (8–10+ years)
4+ years of estimating experience within a manufacturing environment
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with estimating software or cost estimation systems
Ability to analyze material, labor, and production costs
CAD experience preferred (ArtiosCAD is a plus)

Preferred Experience

Packaging, printing, paper converting, folding cartons, rigid boxes, plastics, or similar manufacturing industries
ERP system experience
Vendor sourcing and pricing experience
Understanding of manufacturing materials and production processes

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite)

Salary: $60,000–$110,000 base salary, depending on experience
