Traffic Engineer

An established engineering consulting firm is seeking a licensed Traffic Engineer to support and manage transportation projects focused on roadway design, traffic flow, and safety improvements.

Responsibilities

Conduct traffic studies and analyze transportation data.
Design traffic signals, signage, and roadway improvements.
Prepare engineering plans, technical reports, and specifications.
Manage projects from planning through completion.
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and engineering teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Active PE license required.
5+ years of traffic engineering experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and traffic modeling software such as SYNCHRO, VISSIM, or SIDRA.
Project management experience and strong communication skills.
